I am delighted to write this foreword for the very first e-newsletter of Skill Promoting India network (SPIN). History has proved that networking is an efficient tool for the exchange of knowledge and information and creation of new knowledge. SPIN should be seen as effective platform for the same. By defining common ground and joining forces, the association will strengthen their capacities and negotiating abilities. It promotes democracy and reinforces the mandate of skill development for the disadvantaged section of the society. It makes our efforts sustainable and help us to reach out more and more youth. Last 25 years of FVTRS has noticed progress and growth in the relationship between FVTRS and her partners as well as the between the partners. This relationship has helped us to enhance our reach for skill development. This growth must be continued vigorously to reach out furthermore needy youth in the country. Each one of us has enormous capacities and skills as an individual organization. The SPIN shall bring more synergy and further it will enhance our efficiency in addressing the skill development needs of the country. Therefore, I believe the SPIN is going to make great difference in our intervention and it will make a significant contribution for achieving Skill India Mission. As a promoting organization it is a pleasure and privilege for FVTRs to support the initiatives of SPIN.
The sustainability of SPIN is very dependent on the mindset of the organisational leaders in giving to other and not expecting things from others. In the past that is what exactly we have been doing. We have been supporting the underprivileged youth without expecting any returns. This spirit need to be promoted and expressed in our relationship also. I take this opportunity to congratulate all SPIN national executive, state convenors, and general body members for showing immense unity in taking various initiatives. Let us march together for creating a better tomorrow for the youth who have left out from the mainstream.
